E3 LLC is a Columbus, Ohio-based general contracting and owner’s representation firm led by Ryan Boden. We help owners, brokers, and project teams plan, price, and deliver commercial interiors, renovations, and tenant improvements.

Ryan brings more than a decade of commercial construction experience, with a background rooted in healthcare, commercial interiors, renovations, and complex occupied environments. He founded E3 to give clients a more hands-on, accountable approach to project delivery — with experienced leadership involved from early planning and budgeting through construction and turnover.

Our focus is on hospitality and service-driven environments: spaces where guests, patients, employees, and customers experience the brand, and where operations often need to continue through construction. That experience has shaped the way we work. We specialize in occupied, phased, and logistically complex projects that require careful planning, clear communication, and sequencing around live operations.

Every project starts with alignment. Before budgets and schedules are finalized, we work to ensure the owner, broker, designer, and contractor share the same definition of success: scope, budget, schedule, and standard of finish. When expectations are aligned early, decisions become easier, changes stay smaller, and projects are more likely to finish the way they were promised.

E3 is intentionally hands-on. Our clients are not passed from a business development team to a junior project manager. Ryan remains directly involved, bringing an owner-focused perspective to budgeting, procurement, coordination, problem solving, and execution.

Our sweet spot is the complicated project — occupied, phased, highly visible, and worth doing right. The more complex the opportunity, the more we enjoy solving it. That mindset is also personal for Ryan. Growing up, his mother often reminded him, “When much is given, much is expected.” It’s a principle that still shapes the way E3 approaches its work today: with gratitude for the opportunity, accountability for the outcome, and a responsibility to deliver at a high level.
